The Introduction to West Coast Swing class is perfect for beginners and starts at 7pm on Tuesdays at the Belconnen Arts Centre. This class provides a comprehensive introduction to the fundamentals of West Coast Swing and is suitable for adults aged 16 and above. The Continuing level class follows at 8:30pm, allowing students to further develop their skills and explore more advanced techniques.

New students have the opportunity to take advantage of a special introductory offer. For just $140, new dancers can join the Introduction to West Coast Swing class for a full 10-week term, saving $30 on the normal term price. This discounted rate ensures that learning to dance in 2023 is both affordable and accessible.

At Audacity Dance, the health, and safety of the community is a top priority. The studio follows all government and health authority restrictions in relation to COVID-19. While vaccination is preferred for all patrons, the studio also encourages anyone feeling unwell or who has been to a known COVID exposure site to refrain from attending classes. Strict hygiene measures, including regular hand sanitization, are implemented, and students have the option to rotate partners or stay with a chosen partner during classes.

The dance studio is conveniently located at the Belconnen Arts Centre, situated at 118 Emu Bank Parade in Belconnen. Ample parking options are available behind the building, in the Westfield carpark, or on the well-lit Emu Bank Parade or Benjamin Way.

Classes are held on Tuesdays during school terms, with the Introduction to West Coast Swing class starting promptly at 7pm. To ensure a smooth start to the class, students are encouraged to arrive at 6:45pm for warm-up exercises. The Continuing level class takes place at 8:30pm, while social dancing and practise sessions are enjoyed by patrons between 8pm and 8:30pm.

In addition to regular classes, Audacity Dance also offers private lessons for individuals or couples. These personalised sessions provide a unique opportunity to accelerate one's dance skills and are priced at $80 per person or $100 per couple per hour. Small group lessons with four people are also available at a rate of $140.
