Gungahlin Jets Australian Football Club is thrilled to offer its Auskick Rookies program for young boys and girls eager to dive into the exciting world of AFL. Led by Coach Jimmy and Josh Naden, the program will focus on developing essential skills like kicking, handballing, and marking, while also instilling values like teamwork, sportsmanship, and commitment.
Young participants are encouraged to come dressed comfortably in club colours or any AFL gear they have. Footwear should allow for comfortable ball kicking as they engage in fun, interactive sessions that are completely non-contact and emphasise a safe and inclusive learning environment.
If any AusKickers born in 2018 show readiness for the next level, Auskick Pro, individual assessments will be conducted. The sessions will kick off every Sunday from May 5th to June 30th, 2024, at Amaroo Oval.
