Adam Zaruba, the owner and head coach of AZ Elite Performance, is a former National Athlete with a passion for helping others achieve their fitness goals. Born and raised in North Vancouver, Adam has been involved in sports his entire life, participating in a variety of activities such as snowboarding, skiing, soccer, rugby, football, and baseball. It wasn't until he moved to Carson Graham Secondary School at the age of 16 that he began pursuing sports competitively and discovered his love for athletics.
Having experienced both the highs and lows of sports, including being on the cusp of achieving his goal of becoming an Olympian before a career-ending ACL injury, Adam understands the physical and mental challenges that come with pushing oneself to the limit. Despite the setback, Adam retired from professional sports in 2021 and made the decision to transition into personal training to share his knowledge and help others reach their full potential.
