Lessons are conducted in our newly built outdoor riding arena, providing a safe and comfortable environment for riders to learn and develop their riding abilities. We have a variety of well-trained horses and ponies suitable for riders of different sizes and abilities.
One of the best ways to explore the natural beauty of the New Forest is through our guided hacks. Led by experienced instructors, our hacks allow riders to immerse themselves in the stunning countryside and wildlife of Hampshire. The hacks are suitable for riders of all levels, from beginners to experienced riders. We offer different duration options, ranging from 1-hour hacks to half-day hacks, allowing riders to choose the best experience to suit their preferences.
Bagnum Equestrian Centre also hosts a variety of events throughout the year. These include Clear Round, Show Jumping, and Dressage competitions. These events are open to riders of all levels and provide a great opportunity to test your skills and have fun. We have a range of jumps available to use during these events and our knowledgeable staff are on hand to offer guidance and support.
Our Pony Club is a fantastic way for children aged 8-16 to have fun while learning all aspects of riding and pony management. Children get fully involved in the care of the ponies, including mucking out stables, feeding, learning about horse anatomy, and of course, riding. Many of our Pony Club members have gone on to either loan or own their own ponies, taking the knowledge and experience gained from the Pony Club. We also run special Pony Club weeks during school holidays, providing additional opportunities for children to immerse themselves in the equestrian world.
Currently, Bagnum Equestrian Centre does not have any availability for livery services. However, interested individuals can contact us to be placed on our waiting list. We offer full, part, and DIY livery options, with on-site stables conveniently located in the heart of the New Forest. Our livery facilities include storage spaces for feed and rugs, as well as a separate area for hay and haylage storage.
