Welcome to Bairnsdale Speedway! The Bairnsdale Speedway Association Inc. is a long-standing Auto Racing club that has been a part of the East Gippsland Shire community for over 40 years. The club's home is the Granite Rock Speedway, located on the outskirts of Bairnsdale.
Over the years, the club has made significant improvements to the track and facilities. Safety is a top priority, and the track boasts an impressive 360 meters of level 5 safety fencing, the highest in Victoria. The lights on the track have been updated, the spectators fence has been improved, and the canteen has been reconditioned for your refreshment needs. Major improvements have also been made to the toilet block, ensuring that all visitors have a comfortable experience. The Pit area has been enlarged to accommodate the growing number of enthusiastic racers.
The Bairnsdale Speedway Association values community involvement and works closely with various volunteer groups during race meetings. The Community Volunteers Organisation, Lakes Entrance Lions Club, Community Events First Aid, and Sarsfield Fire Brigade all play important roles in ensuring a smooth and memorable racing experience.
From November to April, the club organises seven night race meetings, allowing fans of Auto Racing to witness thrilling action under the stars. These events promise an exciting display of speed and skill, as drivers compete in various racing categories.
