Ballers Basketball Academy

Ballers Basketball Academy is an athlete training centre located in Pakenham, Victoria. Established in October 2020, this state-of-the-art facility offers elite basketball training and comprehensive strength and conditioning programmes.

The academy features a 3/4 size basketball court, designed with FIBA quality sprung timer floors made of American Maple. This ensures optimal performance and safety for athletes of all levels. The basketball court is equipped with top-of-the-line Goalrilla DC72E ring/backboard systems, providing an authentic basketball experience.

At Ballers Basketball Academy, they understand the importance of tailored training methods. That's why they provide a range of equipment and facilities to cater to every individual's needs. The fully equipped gym offers a variety of weight training equipment, including bench press, chest press, lat pull down, leg extension, calf raise, and more. Additionally, there is a squat rack, fixed barbells (straight and ezi curl), dumbbell rack, and barbells for strength training.

The facility also includes TRX, medicine balls, kettlebells, skipping ropes, stretching mats, and a boxing bag for functional training and conditioning.

John Sprakel, the owner and operator of Ballers Basketball Academy, brings a wealth of expertise to the facility. He is a current VJBL coach with Dandenong Rangers and a domestic coach with Vales basketball club. John is also Association Coaching Course accredited and holds a Certificate IV in Fitness – Personal Training. His dedication and knowledge ensure that athletes receive the highest quality training and coaching.
