The Katy Anne Robinson School of Dance is proud to present our new Ballet Technique classes, designed to bring out the best in every dancer. For those at Grade 2 Ballet and above, we highly encourage you to join us for our weekly Ballet Technique class alongside your regular graded syllabus class.
In this specialised class, our dancers will focus on honing their essential ballet technique. They will learn the importance of engaging the correct muscles, controlling turn out, and achieving stronger alignment. By dedicating time to perfecting the positioning and placement of their arms and legs, our dancers will increase their overall body strength.
Moreover, studying the technique class alongside the graded syllabus class provides a pathway for our students to progress to pointe work. By strengthening their feet, ankles, legs, and core, our dancers will be well-prepared for this exciting milestone in their dance journey. Not only will they experience significant improvements in their technique, but they will also gain a boost in confidence, which will carry over to all other dance styles they participate in, including tap and modern.
We are thrilled to offer this opportunity to our dancers, as those who show exceptional potential in the Ballet Technique class may be selected to study at the Vocational level. This opens doors for students who are interested in pursuing a career in dance. By studying at the Intermediate Foundation and Intermediate levels, they can further advance in this chosen field.
So, get ready to experience the incredible benefits of improved ballet technique! We can't wait to witness the progress and achievements of our talented dancers. Join us for our Ballet Technique classes and embark on a journey towards excellence in contemporary dance.
