Welcome to Balmain Bodies Pilates Studio, located in the heart of Balmain, NSW. Our studio offers a fully equipped boutique space and small class sizes to ensure personalised attention and high-quality instruction.
At Balmain Bodies, we believe in the many benefits of Pilates, including increased strength without adding bulk, improved flexibility, enhanced posture, and the prevention of injury. Our goal is to help clients achieve their fitness goals and cultivate a healthy, balanced lifestyle.
Founder Jenny Burgess brings a wealth of experience to the studio. With a background in ballet and a successful career in dance, Jenny discovered Pilates as a solution for her own body wear and tear. She has undergone extensive training, including full studio certification from Pilates Moves and a two-year training programme in the USA with Lolita San Miguel, a first-generation Pilates teacher certified by Joseph Pilates himself. Jenny continues to train with world leaders in the Pilates Method to provide top-notch instruction to her clients.
Instructor Casey, with over 15 years of experience in the entertainment industry, brings a passion for performing and making people feel great about themselves. Incorporating Pilates into her fitness routine for back pain management, Casey is committed to bringing diversity, high energy, and plenty of fun to every class. She loves throwing in something fun to keep clients engaged and ensure they enjoy every session.
At Balmain Bodies, we offer a variety of class packages to suit different needs and preferences. All clients are required to attend an initial private session to learn the fundamentals of Pilates, familiarise themselves with the equipment, and address any specific injuries or personal concerns. We recommend taking advantage of our 3 private session starter package for those new to Pilates or in need of special attention. Private sessions can be purchased individually or as packages, with group sessions also available.
We also offer a Sunday Mat Session for a more affordable option.
To ensure convenience and flexibility, all classes must be booked and paid for in advance, and we accept credit card payments. Private sessions are available by appointment only, and we kindly request a 24-hour cancellation notice to avoid the full session fee.
