Barefeet Yoga, located in Great Mongeham, Deal, Kent, is led by the talented and passionate Yoga instructor, Josephine Wells. With years of experience and a deep love for the practise, Josephine is dedicated to helping others embark on their own yoga journey.
While primarily focusing on the physical aspect of yoga, Josephine also explores other elements such as breathing and meditation techniques, as well as sharing the history behind the practise. Her classes aim to not only strengthen and stretch the body but also to calm the nervous system, improve sleep, and cultivate self-awareness.

Starting in January 2024, Barefeet Yoga will be holding classes at the Great Mongeham Village hall. This cosy and conveniently located venue, with parking available by the village green, is the perfect setting for your yoga practise. Classes will resume on Monday, 8th January 2024.
Josephine offers two class options to cater to different needs and preferences. The “Yoga for a Healthy New Year” course, taking place from 6:30pm to 7:30pm, is designed to kickstart your wellness journey for the new year. It focuses on promoting both physical and mental well-being, allowing you to approach your health and harmony in a holistic manner.
For those struggling with restless nights, the “Yoga for Restful Sleep” course is the perfect solution. From 7:45pm to 8:45pm, Josephine guides participants through gentle restorative stretches and Yoga Nidra practises to create a bedtime ritual that promotes relaxation and supports a natural sleep cycle. This course is suitable for all levels and offers accessible practises that can easily be incorporated into your nightly routine.
