Founded 25 years ago by passionate runners, this Barnsley-based club has grown into a thriving community with around 200 members. It's the largest senior membership club in the area, and its friendly atmosphere makes it the perfect fit for runners of all ages and abilities.

Every Monday and Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm, you'll find the crew gathering at Shaw Lane Sports Club. Whether you're up for a relaxed jog or ready to test your mettle in a demanding session, there’s a spot for you. Newbies are always welcome – just keep an eye out for the familiar orange and black vests outside the main building.

The weekly training groups cover distances from 4 to 9 miles, and no one gets left behind. Wednesdays in winter? That's speed and hill work night, with the whole club training as one big team. There are even beginner groups to ease new runners into the sport.
