Barnton Football Club

Barnton Football Club, fondly known as “The Villagers,” sits right in the heart of Northwich. Rich in history and local support, it's a magnet for football enthusiasts of all ages and skills.

Andy, the club's organiser, wants you to know there's a team for everyone: from First Team down to the Early Years Academy, each led by a committed manager and coaching crew. Andy's all about fostering a positive, competitive atmosphere.

The First Team, managed by Danny Moss, competes in the North West Counties Football League – First Division South. Known for their skill and determination, they're gunning for success in the league.

Shaun Gee's U16 Girls team trains on Wednesdays and plays on Saturdays in the Cheshire Girls Football League U16. They're passionate and talented, a real backbone of the community's female football scene.

Dave Bryning's U16 Boys had an impressive 2021/22 season, bagging the league, league cup, district FA cup, and Cheshire cup in the Mid-Cheshire Youth Football League U16 – Division 1. They’re the epitome of dedication and skill.

For younger players, Andy has set up the Early Years Academy – perfect for reception and year 1 kids to pick up fundamental football skills in a fun environment.

Andy’s Wildcats sessions are a hit too, offering Saturday morning slots for girls of all abilities to develop their football skills, make friends, and build confidence.

The club is always on the lookout for new players and volunteers. Roles like Matchday Secretary and Matchday Stewards are crucial for smooth operations. Sponsors are greatly valued, with MyClubPro supporting the club's website and kit.

Getting to the pitch is simple: find Beech Lane off the A533 near the Beech Tree Inn in Barnton Village, and take a right at the 'T' junction with Townfield Lane. The ground is signposted as the Memorial Hall, though parking is limited.
