About

Bastion HEMA (Historical Fencing Academy) teaches Historical European Martial Arts in Singapore. Classes focus on the late medieval period with particular emphasis on the Liechtenauer and Augsburg traditions. Students train weekly across longsword, messer, sword and buckler, spear, and dagger, working through a structured rotation by grade. Bastion also runs manuscript study sessions and a Bashfit conditioning programme aimed at beginners, with trial classes available and equipment provided.
