Founded by Joe, a former ski racer and instructor, Batterski was born out of his passion for ski servicing. After spending a season in La Plagne, France, in 2010, Joe developed a deep love and understanding of ski maintenance. Upon his return to the UK, he honed his skills by taking ski tech courses and became the go-to person for ski servicing among friends and family. In 2016, Batterski was established in Battersea and has since expanded to include workshops in Bromley and Norwich.

Joe and his wife, Maeve, are avid skiers themselves, always seeking new adventures on the slopes. Some of their favourite resorts include Val D'Isere, Niseko in Japan, and Breckenridge in the US. Their firsthand experience and knowledge of skiing contribute to the exceptional service and expertise provided at Batterski.

The Standard Service, priced at 30, takes approximately 5 minutes to complete and ensures that skis or snowboards are in optimal condition for the slopes. The Gold Service, also priced at 35, offers the same quality and efficiency but with additional premium features. For those in need of immediate servicing, the Same Day Turnaround Service, priced at 45 and taking approximately 1 hour, guarantees a quick and efficient repair or maintenance job.
