The organiser, Mr. James Kelly, extends a warm invitation to the sports community for the Beaufort Hunt Team Chase. This distinguished equestrian event takes place near Badminton, UK.
The Team Chase 2023 is set for Sunday, 8th October, at Sopworth Cross-Roads, near Badminton. Mr. Kelly thanks Mr & Mrs Geoff Barker, and Mr & Mrs Andrew Sells for kindly allowing the use of their property, as well as Simon Best & Mike Pike for their support.
The course, laid out on the prime old turf of Beaufort Saturday country, will feature timber, walls, hedges, and other natural elements. There will be two Intermediate classes – Speed and Bogey – with fences no higher than 3'9”. A Novice class will also run, with fences up to 3'3”.
Entries should be submitted online at www.horse-events.co.uk. Entries close either when the event is full or at midnight on Sunday, 1st October. Be sure to enter promptly to secure your spot. Note that entry fees include non-refundable booking and levy fees per team.
Remember to bring a number bib on the day. Facilities on-site include a refreshment stall, burger stand, and a tack stand. Participants are asked to leave dogs at home. If essential, dogs must be kept on a lead. Veterinary surgeons, a farrier, and a horse ambulance will be present, but competitors will need to pay for any services received.
Participants are reminded not to empty horseboxes or trailers of muck, shavings, or waste materials on the property. Non-compliance will result in elimination to protect the farm's environment.
