Join Fox Archers for their upcoming Beginners Archery Course starting on Saturday 8th June and continuing on Saturday 22nd June 2024. The course includes two Saturday sessions where all equipment is provided, insurance is included, and participants will receive instruction from GNAS qualified coaches. Each candidate will also receive a Beginners Manual covering the basics and etiquette of archery. The course fee is £80. Participants must be at least 8 years old, with all young persons under 18 accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.
The main goal of the course is to create a safe and enjoyable environment for learning archery techniques and participating safely in the sport with minimal supervision. Topics covered include etiquette, equipment selection, various forms of archery, handicaps and classification, and scoring. Fox Archers reserve the right to decline membership if basic requirements are not met.
