Mixed teams. Our junior club caters to children in the Under 6 to Under 13 grades, as well as senior boys (Under 16-18) and Under 17 girls.

The Belfast RFC is proud to have Mpho Mbiyozo as our full-time Director of Rugby, who can be reached at mphombiyozo@gmail. Com. Glenda Spillane serves as our full-time Facilities Manager and can be contacted at belfast. rfc@xtra.

co. nz. Both Mpho and Glenda contribute to the efficient management and maintenance of our club rooms and Sheldon Park.

Our club rooms and Sheldon Park are in constant use, not only for rugby activities but also for various other community events and functions. These may include Belfast Touch, Rotary Club of Belfast/Kaiapoi events, the Belfast Friendly Club, Eclipse Marching, Belfast Netball Club, CLROC, social clubs, seminars, weddings, and private events. This versatile space allows us to embrace the wider community and promote a sense of togetherness.

In addition to our excellent facilities, we offer an on-site Club Gym. We encourage members and the wider community to take advantage of this feature by offering affordable memberships. For further information on our gym memberships, please refer to the 'Rugby 2021' tab on our website.

The Belfast Rugby Football Club is also privileged to have a dedicated board and committee elected during our Annual General Meeting on November 6th, 2023. To view the list of board and executive members, please visit the corresponding tab on our homepage.

We are delighted to announce that we recently held the launch of Wayne Smith's book, “Smithy,” at the Belfast Club. It was a memorable evening, and we were honoured to host such a respected figure in New Zealand rugby.

Looking ahead to 2024, we have named our coaches and team managers for the upcoming season. We are confident in the expertise and dedication of our coaching staff, and we believe they will bring great success to the club.
