The studio is heated to about 40°C with 40% humidity, which is essential for achieving the significant health benefits associated with Bikram Yoga. They use far infrared technology to gently warm the body, maintaining a stable temperature throughout the class. This natural heat supports detoxification, improves circulation, relaxes muscle tissue for deeper stretching, and offers a more intense cardiovascular workout, resulting in a greater calorie burn than typical yoga classes.

Bikram Yoga involves a set sequence of 26 Hatha Yoga postures and two breathing exercises, practised in a heated room for 90 minutes. It was developed by Bishnu Ghosh in Calcutta, India, and later brought to America by his student, Bikram Choudhury. This specific sequence, along with teacher training, teaching methods, and principles, creates the unique and transformative benefits of Bikram Yoga.
