The riding school offers a range of services, including riding lessons in various styles such as private, group, and semi-private lessons. During the spring and summer months, riders also have the option to ride outside and experience the beauty of the surrounding countryside. For beginners, lunging is incorporated into lessons to provide a sense of security and promote independent thinking and listening skills. This allows riders to learn the rising trot, understand beats and pace, and develop their confidence with the horse.

Lessons take place in both small groups and in one-on-one settings to ensure personalised instruction.

In addition to riding lessons, Birtles Equestrian also provides natural healing services, including reiki, healing hands, and therapeutic time spent with the horses themselves. This holistic approach to well-being aims to enhance the physical and emotional connexion between horses and humans.

For existing clients, Birtles Equestrian offers a horse loaning scheme as well as fun pony days, events, and competitions. These opportunities allow riders to strengthen their bond with horses, build their skills, and participate in the equestrian community.

The riding school boasts impressive on-site facilities, including an enclosed indoor arena measuring 20 × 40 metres, as well as two outdoor riding fields that can also be utilised as a jumping paddock. For those seeking more adventurous experiences, Birtles Equestrian offers a Cross Country course located within its fields. All facilities are maintained to a high standard and are easily accessible to riders.

Operating under ABRS Approved status, Birtles Equestrian ensures the safety and well-being of all riders through up-to-date First Aid Training and Safeguarding Training. The riding school holds a Cheshire East Council Licence to further guarantee its compliance with industry standards.

Birtles Equestrian's operating times are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:30am to 6pm, and Saturday and Sunday from 9am to 2pm. The school is conveniently located at Birtles Cottage on Twemlow Lane in Cranage, Holmes Chapel, Crewe, with easy access to nearby amenities.
