BJJ Hervey Bay

Takedowns, joint locks, chokes, self-defence, and escapes. We offer a variety of classes to cater to different age groups and skill levels.

For adults, we have Adult No Gi Grappling classes, which incorporate all aspects of BJJ without using clothing. This is a great class for those who prefer a different style of training. We also offer Adults BJJ classes, where practitioners can learn complete Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu techniques.

Our Drills & Skills class is suitable for all BJJ ranks and focuses on revising techniques taught throughout the week. This class is perfect for those looking to refine their skills and improve their understanding of BJJ.

For those interested in competition training, we offer the Fundamentals BJJ class. This class is designed for practitioners who already have some experience in BJJ and want to take their skills to the next level. Please note that beginners are not recommended for this class.

We also have a Junior class designed for kids aged 4–7 years old. This class uses Jiu Jitsu games to help children have fun while learning the basics of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

At BJJ Hervey Bay, we believe in the importance of grading and recognition of skill progression. We have detailed information about how grading works and when gradings are held. Visitors to our club can also view our member rankings.
