Led by Chief Instructor Mr Elliott Walker, a 6th-degree international instructor, Blackburn & Darwen Martial Arts – TaeKwonDo has a rich history and a wealth of experience. Mr Walker began his TaeKwonDo journey at the age of 15 and has trained with various clubs and associations, achieving his Black Belt with North West TaeKwonDo. Throughout his career, he has instructed and graded students, becoming a 5th Dan Black Belt and learning different kicking techniques from a WTF club in Germany and Canada.
The club also boasts a team of highly skilled instructors, including Miss Chloe Bevan, a 4th-degree Black Belt who has been training under Mr Walker for over thirteen years. She regularly competes at national and international levels, holding the title of World Champion in sparring. Miss Bevan also holds professional qualifications for teaching children and oversees the development of junior grades.
