Welcome to Black Cat Equestrian Centre, a family-run British Horse Society approved riding centre located in Sutton on Sea, Lincolnshire. Our centre offers a wide range of riding and driving tuition for people of all ages and abilities, including those with physical and learning difficulties.
Situated on 22 acres of land, our school features two outdoor schools, a small indoor school, and a 1-acre jumping field. Additionally, we have 10 acres of off-road riding and a beautiful fishing lake, providing a picturesque setting for our riders.
At Black Cat Equestrian Centre, we have approximately 20 horses to suit riders of all abilities. Whether you are an absolute beginner or an experienced professional, we have the perfect horse for you. Our riding lessons are conducted in small, friendly groups to ensure a personalised and hands-on learning experience.
As a BHS approved riding school, we offer a variety of lessons for all ages, including lessons for disabled individuals. In addition to riding lessons, we also provide stable management, beach and country hacks, and show jumping courses. We occasionally have horses and ponies for sale as well.
Our pricing for riding lessons is as follows: group lessons are 23. 00 for a half hour and 25. 00 for a full hour, while private lessons are 25. 00 for a half hour and 35.
00 for three-quarters of an hour. Hacking out sessions are priced at 30. 00 for a full hour, 45. 00 for one and a half hours, and 60.
00 for two hours. Please note that lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged the full price.
In addition to riding lessons, we also offer activity sessions that are perfect for school trips, hen and birthday parties, and social group outings. These sessions are tailored to suit the needs of each group and can include horse riding and stable management. The sessions last for either 2 or 3 hours, and we provide picnic areas and classrooms for added convenience.
If you are interested in jumping, we offer group tuition in our jumping field, allowing riders to practise over logs and show jumps. Our outdoor school is also available for practising on slopes, providing a comprehensive training experience for both horse and rider.
