Black Country Jiu-Jitsu

Welcome to Black Country Jiu-Jitsu, a martial arts club located in Stourbridge, New Zealand. Founded in 2019, Black Country Jiu-Jitsu offers a comprehensive training programme in the art of Jiu-Jitsu.

Jiu-Jitsu is not only a competitive grappling sport but also an effective method of self-defence. It is a great way to keep fit, build confidence, and make new friends. At Black Country Jiu-Jitsu, we believe in providing a supportive and inclusive training environment for individuals of all skill levels and ages.

For those interested in trying out Jiu-Jitsu, we offer a free introductory lesson. All you need to bring is a t-shirt and shorts or jogging bottoms. If you decide to join, we can assist you in purchasing your first Gi, the traditional uniform worn in Jiu-Jitsu. We also accommodate any specific needs or preferences regarding training barefoot.

Our timetable includes sessions for adults and kids, and as a member, you will have unlimited access to all these sessions. Membership is available for adults at 70 per month and for kids at 30 per month. We use a Direct Debit system for monthly payments, and there is no minimum commitment period required.

At Black Country Jiu-Jitsu, we have a team of experienced instructors who are dedicated to helping you improve your Jiu-Jitsu skills at your own pace. Our classes for beginners cater to those who are new to the art and provide a solid foundation for progression.

For children, Jiu-Jitsu can be a valuable activity that promotes discipline, self-control, and physical fitness. We have structured sessions specifically designed for kids, ensuring their safety while imparting valuable skills.

We also provide private tuition for individuals who prefer one-on-one instruction, allowing for personalised training and accelerated progress.
