The Bluebell School of Dance, under the guidance of Jenny, is a well-regarded institution in Chatham, aiming to offer quality dance and performing arts classes for all age groups.
For the youngsters, Jenny has arranged engaging classes on Saturdays. The “First Steps” class, from 9:00-9:30am, is ideal for pre-schoolers curious about dance. Following this, the “Tap Shuffle Boogie” class from 9:30-10am helps young dancers explore tap rhythms.
For children in Year R and above, Jenny provides a Foundation Ballet class and a Foundation Tap with Modern class, both from 9:30-10:00am on Saturdays. These classes focus on the basics of ballet and tap while including some modern dance.
On Thursdays, for children in Year 1 and 2, there’s the Prelim Ballet class from 17:00-17:45pm. This class helps develop ballet skills in a supportive environment.
Jenny invites prospective students to a free taster session to get a feel of the school's offerings. Interested individuals can contact the school to arrange a session and experience the joy of dance.
Notably, the Spring Term 1 starts on Saturday 6th January, with the February Half Term scheduled from 10th February to 16th February.
Located at 10 Kit Hill Avenue, Walderslade, Kent ME5 9EU, the school conducts classes at various venues in the area, including Tunbury Hall, Blue Bell Hill Village Hall, St William's Church, and St David's Church.
