Blundellsands Archers

Blundellsands Archers, based in Liverpool, has long been a staple in the North West's archery scene, including Sefton and nearby areas. Gerry, the organiser, wanted to highlight the club’s rich history, spanning over 140 years, and its prominent role in the Merseyside archery community. Affiliated with Archery GB, the club offers year-round target shooting for all types of bows, and there's even clout shooting during the summer.

Gerry ensures that during winter, indoor target shooting is available at two venues, providing members with opportunities to practise regardless of the weather. Whether you’re a novice or a seasoned archer, Gerry aims to create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. Periodic open days offer a chance for potential members to get a feel for the sport and the club.

For newcomers, Blundellsands Archers runs beginners' courses, essential for joining the club. Gerry advises to check for course availability early as they fill up fast. Club members are always on hand to offer guidance to those keen on learning archery.

The club's facilities are top-notch, even hosting prestigious events such as the Lancashire Archery Association UK Record Status Clout Championship.
