BMB Basketball, located in Officer, is a basketball club that aims to cultivate disciplined, hardworking, resilient, and respectful athletes. Their programmes cater to players of all skill levels, offering beginner, intermediate, and advanced sessions. With a maximum of 10 players per class per coach, BMB Basketball ensures a focused and personal training experience for each participant.
For those with little to no experience, the Beginners sessions provide a solid foundation to learn the fundamentals of basketball. Intermediate sessions are suited for players who have played at school or in domestic leagues, while the Advanced sessions are exclusively for A grade players and representatives.
BMB Basketball takes a holistic approach to athlete development, fostering not only basketball skills but also important life skills. Their Athletic Development Programme, led by qualified personal trainer and former BIG V player Tim Morgan, focuses on athletic movement, speed, and agility training. Additionally, their high-level skill development sessions, conducted by VC and NBL1 coach Brett McKean, aim to improve basketball skills while instilling the values of hard work and discipline.
They also offer the BALLERS Mini programme on Wednesdays, specifically designed for 4-6 year old beginners. This programme introduces children to basketball in a safe, fun, and educational environment. To ensure the best training experience, BMB Basketball has partnered with 4 U Body Fitness, led by Tim Morgan, who specialises in training children and children athletes.
During school holidays, BMB Basketball offers individual sessions, group sessions for 2–3 players, and group sessions for 4 or more players. These sessions are tailored to cater to the specific needs of each player, with pricing starting at $80 per player for individual sessions.
For players at the A grade or representative level, BMB Basketball provides high-performance shooting sessions. These 90-minute sessions focus on recording consistency and accuracy, helping players fine-tune their shooting skills. The cost per player for these sessions is $45.
In addition to their training programmes, BMB Basketball is also affiliated with Officer Basketball, creating a seamless basketball experience for all members. This affiliation allows players to join domestic basketball teams and participate in the local PDBA competition. Teams are available for boys and girls from U8s to senior levels, giving players the opportunity to play for fun or to advance their game with a qualified coach.
