

Tony Terry extends a warm welcome to the Bowls Hastings community, the only indoor bowling green in Hawke's Bay. Located in the heart of Hastings, Bowls Hastings features a full-size covered stadium, making it possible to play in any weather. Whether you're a newcomer or a seasoned player, the facilities are ready for you to enjoy.
During the winter, Bowls Hastings hosts a weekly triples competition on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at lunchtime and Wednesday evening. Play starts at 12:30 pm, with names in by 12:45 pm. Saturdays have a Club Roll Up, available when the green is free, starting at 1:00 pm with names in by 12:45 pm.

Bowls Hastings is run smoothly thanks to their dedicated team. Dave Porteous is the Secretary/Delegate, Paul Terry is the President, and Denise Herbert oversees the treasury. The executive team includes Craig Drummond, Murray Duncan, Neil Ferguson, Mike Isaacson, and Tony Terry.
Selectors and coaches ensure all bowlers get the support they need. Tony and Glenys serve as selectors, while coaching services are provided by Tony, Glenys, and Joe.
Different match committees and individuals contribute to the club’s operations. Craig Drummond and Merv Brown look after championships, Murray Duncan and Dave Lothian manage roll-ups, Neil Ferguson is the almoner, Glenys Riddell is the umpire, Elaine Wiggins is the patroness, Doug Walford is a patron and selector, and Dave Porteous handles tournament entries.
