As you know, Bowls Whangarei has been around since 1901 and proudly holds the title of being Northland's oldest bowling club. It's got a rich history and a strong connection with the game of Lawn Bowls here in NZ.

We've got an amazing green that’s always in top shape, thanks to our dedicated crew. It's perfect whether you're keen on competitive matches or just enjoy a relaxed game with mates. Plus, it's pretty scenic out here - can't beat those views!

Being the headquarters for Bowls Northland, we play a big role in promoting and developing the sport across the region. It's something we're really proud of and we’re committed to supporting our bowlers at all levels.

A big part of what makes Bowls Whangarei special is the hospitality. Rick loves welcoming bowlers from all over, whether you're here for a friendly game or just to soak up the atmosphere. There's always a warm welcome waiting for you.

We also host a range of tournaments and events throughout the year. Our calendar’s packed with exciting competitions, from local meets to national events. It's a great chance for everyone to challenge themselves and show off their skills.
