Brad Franks, one of the dedicated organisers of the Bradford Disability Football Club, has something special to share with you all. Based in Keighley, the club offers a welcoming environment for all. Training sessions are held weekly at the Trinity Green Sports Centre, located at Bradford College on Trinity Road (BD5 0JD). You can join in on Friday evenings from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, or on Sunday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The first session is on the house, and after that, it's just £3 per session.
Open to anyone aged 6 and above, the club is inclusive and friendly. Brad and the team welcome everyone, whether you're an experienced player or picking up a football for the first time. Run entirely by volunteers, the club depends on donations, grants, and sponsorships to keep going. They’re a registered charity (number 1158017).
The club competes in various leagues, from League 1 to League 5, and has junior teams for U16's and U12's. For the latest among fixtures, results, and other news, check out their website and social media pages. There’s even a 2024 BDFC Calendar available for purchase to aid fundraising efforts.
Brad and the club are also on the lookout for sponsorships. Whether you’re an individual or a business, any support—financial or in-kind—is much appreciated. It’s a fantastic way to contribute to the community and promote your brand.
Throughout the year, the club organises several events. Mark your calendars for the upcoming Cinderella Pantomime on Sunday, 21st January 2024. More details will be shared soon.
If you’re keen to get involved or want more info, feel free to drop by one of the training sessions at Trinity Green Sports Centre or reach out to the club directly. Brad and the team also have great sponsorship opportunities for those interested in backing the club.
