Breathing Space Wellbeing – Yoga in Pymble is a yoga studio and mindfulness centre located in the heart of the Upper North Shore of Sydney. The studio welcomes everybody and is committed to providing accessible and trauma-aware yoga practises. They offer a range of yoga and movement practises both in-person and via livestream/online platforms, as well as courses and specialised offerings to help individuals reconnect with themselves and find inner strength and calm.
At Breathing Space, attendees can participate in well-crafted yoga and meditation classes, mindfulness and self-compassion courses, Teens Yoga courses, and specialised offerings such as Mindfulness for Pregnancy and Post-natal life, Yoga for Stress-relief, and Yoga Therapy. The studio is staffed by compassionate, experienced, and certified yoga teachers, mindfulness and birth educators, and yoga therapists. These teachers are dedicated to ongoing education and expanding their knowledge in various areas of wellbeing, including nutrition, psychology, and women's health.
The studio offers a diverse range of classes and courses to cater to different needs and preferences. They offer classes such as Ashtanga Yoga, Slow Flow, Yin Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Mums & Bubs Yoga, Teens Yoga, Family Yoga, and Meditation. In addition to regular classes, the studio also hosts courses and events to deepen the practise and understanding of yoga and mindfulness.
Breathing Space is conveniently located at 8/859 Pacific Hwy Pymble, NSW 2073. It is situated at the top of Pacific Motors and is just a 10-minute walk from Pymble train station. Free parking is available at Bayer's basement parking, accessible by going down the ramp at the side of Pacific Motors and turning left.
The intention of Breathing Space is to provide a non-judgmental space for individuals to explore yoga, mindfulness, and creative endeavours for self-discovery. The studio aims to be a kind-hearted and inclusive community where attendees can move, connect with their bodies, de-stress, be present and compassionate, and connect to joy. They strive to create a supportive environment for individuals to simply be and pursue their heart's dreams.
Breathing Space was founded by Michelle Papa, a senior yoga teacher and mentor. With over a decade of experience in teaching yoga locally and internationally, Michelle believes in the importance of understanding the various rhythms and transitions in life. She is dedicated to helping individuals find their wholehearted space, where they can breathe, reset, and remember their own magnificence.
