Bredon Cricket Club

Bredon Cricket Club, a cornerstone of the Tewkesbury community since 1890, invites cricket enthusiasts of all ages to experience their top-tier facilities and expert coaching.

Kicking off this summer, Tom has organised the acclaimed summer cricket camp for young players aged 8 to 15. Running from 31 July to 3 August 2023, from 10am to 3pm, this camp offers a perfect blend of fun and skill-building. At £30 per day or £100 for the full four days, secure your spot by pre-booking and making a bank transfer. Ensure your participation by completing the necessary steps and sending your form to bredoncc@gmail.com. Don't forget to pack a lunch, snack, drinks, and cricket gear, including a hat, sunscreen, and wet weather gear.

Safety is paramount at Bredon Cricket Club. Tom has ensured that fully qualified ECB coaches and a first-aider, all DBS-checked, will be present throughout the camp. In case of bad weather, refunds will be provided for any cancelled days.

Another highlight on the calendar is the Tower Run on 28 May 2023. This 10k trail run, meticulously planned by Tom, starts and finishes at the picturesque cricket club. Participants will enjoy a marshalled route through scenic countryside lanes and paths, culminating at the summit of Bredon Hill, home to an Iron Age fort and the Parson’s Folly tower. Registration is £15, and after the race, enjoy musical entertainment and a barbecue at the club, which features a fully licensed bar. Limited slots are available on a first-come-first-served basis, with a minimum age of 16 for participants. All runners will receive a finisher’s medal, and trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female Bredon Cricket Club members.
