Bretforton Ladies Hockey Club

Bretforton Ladies Hockey Club is a well-established and successful village club located in Evesham, Worcestershire. The club fields three teams that compete in the West Hockey League, as well as Over 35s, Over 45s, and Over 55s Masters Squads. The club trains and plays at The De Montfort School.

The club is always on the lookout for new players, match officials, and supporters to join their squad of lovely ladies. Whether you're looking to meet new people, get fit, or get back into the game, Bretforton Ladies Hockey Club has something for everyone. They are a fun-loving club that enjoys both time on the pitch and socialising off the pitch, often in fancy dress. Bretforton Ladies Hockey Club is affiliated with England Hockey, the National Governing Body for Hockey in England. The club is run by a dedicated committee, with Stuart Bearcroft serving as Chairperson and Coach, Blanche Surman as Secretary and Captain of the 3s, Ness Dufty as Treasurer, Lisa Workman as Fixture Secretary and Vice Captain of the 1s, Amanda Stokes as Welfare Officer, Sam Witheford as Umpire Secretary and Vice Captain of the 2s, Julie Stowe as Coach, Julie Hall and Lou Alderton as Social Media Managers, Hannah Dufty as Captain of the 1s, Lucy Cole as Captain of the 2s and Social Media Manager, Michelle Kilmister as Vice Captain of the 3s.

The club has a dedicated group of players, including mascot Malcolm for the 1s, mascot Martha for the 2s, and mascot PP Linda for the 3s. The players include Linda Bell, Alice Cook, Sophie Hamilton, Dawn Thatcher, Danielle Cox, Tessa Lewinton, Natalie Benwell, Heather Carr, Andrea Cole, Emma Hartwell, Julie Hall, Lisa Workman, Lucy Cole, Hannah Dufty, Thea Jenkins, Julie Stowe, and Ness Dufty. They are always looking for new members to join their team of pink ladies.

In addition to their success on the field, Bretforton Hockey Club recently received their long-awaited white shirts.
