Mackie himself boasts over 50 years of experience in Goju-Kai Karate-do, making him a true master of his craft.

The academy is headed by Head Instructor Brian Davidson, a dedicated 1st Dan Sempai who also holds accreditation as a coach from the Australian Karate Federation (AKF). With 37+ years of Goju-Kai Karate-do experience, Davidson brings his expertise and passion for the art to every class.

Located at the Rob Baddock Community Hall on 160 Dampier Avenue, the academy offers a welcoming and well-equipped training space for students of all ages and skill levels. The training days are on Mondays and Thursdays, with separate sessions for juniors and seniors. Junior classes run from 5:30pm to 6:30pm, while senior classes take place from 6:30pm to 8pm.
