Bridget's Yoga is a well-established Yoga instructor based in Dryslwyn, Pembrokeshire. Led by Bridget Whitehead, a dedicated and experienced yoga teacher, Bridget's Yoga offers a range of classes, workshops, and retreats suitable for everyone, including one-to-one sessions and pregnancy classes.
With over 20 years of experience, Bridget began her yoga journey in 1989 and started teaching in 1999. She first trained with the prestigious British Wheel of Yoga (BWY), completing her training with them in 2002. Seeking further knowledge and a different teaching approach, Bridget then trained with the Inner Yoga Trust (IYT) and completed her training with them in 2004. Bridget's teaching style reflects the experiential approach of the IYT, and she draws on her extensive experience teaching on their 500-hour teacher training diploma course.
Bridget also specialises in Antenatal Yoga, completing her qualification in 2007. She is passionate about teaching yoga to expectant mothers, offering classes that promote relaxation, flexibility, and strength during this special time.
Bridget's Yoga offers a weekly class every Wednesday from 10am to 11. 30am at The Pill Social Centre in Milford Haven. With a limited capacity of 14 people, it is advised to contact Bridget in advance to reserve a place. The cost for the class is 9 per session when block booked, or 13 for drop-ins.
For those who prefer a more personalised approach, Bridget also offers bespoke one-to-one sessions both online and in person, for a cost of 35 plus any necessary travel expenses.
In addition to regular classes, Bridget's Yoga organises workshops and retreats to help students deepen their practise. One such workshop will take place on Saturday 29th July 2023 from 10. 30am to 12. 30pm at Llys y Fran visitor centre.
The workshop costs 25 per person, with places still available.
