Hey Sports Community,
Phil Rozier wants to extend a warm invite to you all to come and experience Brighton Aikikai Aikido Club, right here in the heart of Brighton, UK. Phil’s club is a fantastic place to get involved in Aikido, whether you’re looking to improve your physical or mental skills.
The club runs sessions on Monday and Friday evenings. Monday’s class covers the basics from 8:00 to 9:00 pm, and then it gets dynamic from 9:00 to 10:00 pm. The same schedule applies on Fridays. Phil and his team also host weekend seminars throughout the year.
For those new to Aikido, there's a special beginner's offer available – your first month of training for just £50. It’s the perfect way to see if Aikido is right for you.
Brighton Aikikai is located at Chris Kent's Kicks, 185 Lewes Road, BN2 3LD, with ample parking available. Phil is always happy to welcome drop-ins, so feel free to swing by and give it a shot. However, please note, they don’t offer classes for kids under 18 but can recommend other great clubs in town.
Phil Rozier, the Technical Head, holds a 5th dan and has practised Aikido since 1998. Alongside Phil, you'll find Jonathan Harris and Conan Theobald, both 2nd dan instructors, and Marco Cortese, a 1st dan instructor, who have all dedicated years to mastering this art.
You can stay updated with club news, grading achievements, class schedules, and events through their social media channels and directories.
In Aikido, you’ll work on movement, awareness, and coordination, which can lead to self-defence skills and self-development. Plus, there are chances to travel and meet people, both nearby and abroad.
Phil and the team at Brighton Aikikai believe in creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone can enjoy learning and refining their Aikido skills. If you’re curious or have any questions, do get in touch with Conan via email or phone.
Come see what Aikido can do for you at Brighton Aikikai!
Best wishes,
Phil Rozier and the Brighton Aikikai Team
