Brisbane Valley Rattlers Australian Football Club

The Brisbane Valley Rattlers Australian Football Club, founded in 2016, is a prominent AFL club in Fernvale. Located at Fernvale Sports Park on the Brisbane Valley Highway, the club aims to be the pre-eminent destination for playing, watching, and being involved in AFL within the greater Somerset Region.

Entering its seventh season in 2023, the Brisbane Valley Rattlers AFC prides itself on its commitment to fostering a love for AFL at all age levels. Currently, the club offers teams for Junior players, including Under 8. 5's, Under 9. 5's, Under 10.

5's, and Under 11. 5's (Mixed), as well as Under 9. 5's and Under 11. 5's (All Girls) if there is sufficient interest.

In 2023, the club plans to expand its youth football offerings with an Under 13. 5's Mixed team.

In addition to its thriving Junior programme, the Brisbane Valley Rattlers achieved success in 2022 with the launch of its first Senior Men's team. Looking ahead, the club has plans to introduce a Women's team in 2023, expanding its reach and inclusivity within the sport.
