Bronte Park Outdoor Swimming Pool

Located within Bronte Creek Provincial Park in Oakville, Bronte Park Outdoor Swimming Pool is a popular spot for families and individuals looking to cool off and have some fun in the sun. The pool is one of the largest outdoor pools in Canada, spanning 1. 8 acres and located at the Recreation Complex in the day use area of the park.

The pool is designed in a pond shape, perfect for wading, with a starting depth of just centimetres that gradually deepens to 2 meters (6 feet) in the centre. Lifeguards are on duty for added safety, ensuring a worry-free swimming experience. Please note that there is an additional fee to use the pool area.

Open seasonally from July 1st to Labour Day, the pool area may experience temporary closures due to weather conditions. It is important to cheque for updates regarding the pool schedule. Unfortunately, the Pool Area at Bronte Park will remain closed for the 2023 season as the park works on making repairs to the 35-year-old facility.
