Broomfield Football Club

In January 2017, with the backing of the Essex FA and the Football Foundation, Broomfield Football Club officially opened its new clubhouse. It comes complete with four changing rooms, two rooms for match officials, a bar, and a kitchen that serves hot food on match days.

Founded in 1905, Broomfield FC is steeped in football history. The club earned the prestigious FA Charter Standard in September 2010, acknowledging its dedication to providing top-notch football. In 2011 and 2013, the club was named the Essex FA Charter Standard Club of the Year.

Broomfield FC proudly supports 31 youth teams, including five for girls, and eight senior teams, covering Super Vets, Vets, and Ladies. With each youth team benefiting from at least one FA qualified coach, players receive excellent guidance and development.

At Broomfield FC, the focus is on developing skills, technique, and a love for the game rather than purely winning. The aim is to help players grow steadily and enjoy their football experience.

Additionally, the club runs a popular soccer school on Saturday mornings for children aged 5 to 7, offering a fun and supportive environment to learn and hone their skills.
