Broughton United FC

Broughton United FC, located in Chester, is a football club that aims to bring kids together through the sport of football. The club was formed out of the beliefs and ideals of both Broughton Super Saints JFC and Broughton Park FC, with the shared belief that excellence is achieved by maximising strengths through teamwork.

The mission of Broughton United FC is to positively promote the game of association football to its members and offer coaching and competitive opportunities to all those who wish to play, without any form of discrimination. The club operates a turn up and play policy for junior members, ensuring that all those who wish to play have the opportunity to do so.

The club is committed to the principles of equality of opportunity and ensures that no participant, volunteer, job applicant, or employee receives less favourable treatment based on factors such as gender, age, colour, disability, ethnic origin, parental or marital status, religious belief, social class, or sexual preference. Broughton United Fc provides open access for all those who wish to participate in the club's activities and treats everyone fairly.

Safeguarding the welfare of all children, young people, and vulnerable adults who are in membership of the club is a top priority for Broughton United FC. The club adopts the procedures and working practises of the Football Association of Wales Welfare Policy to provide a safe environment for its members.

Broughton United FC is proud to be a FAW Gold Accredited Club for the 23/24 season, which is a testament to the club's commitment to excellence and high standards. The club also has various affiliations with other organisations in the football community, which further enhances its reputation and network.

The club's teams consist of various age groups, starting from the Mini Phase teams for under 5s and progressing up to under 9s. There are also separate teams for girls in the under 7s and under 9s age groups, providing opportunities for young female footballers to develop their skills and passion for the sport.
