From May to September, catch the action outdoors at Longside airfield. When October hits, indoor sessions take over at the Peterhead community centre. Both spots buzz with activity every Sunday from 11:00am to 2:00pm. And hey, if you fancy trying archery on a whim, drop-in sessions let you have a go three times for free!
Ready to join the fun? Memberships are super accessible! Senior members chip in £40 annually, family packs (up to three members) go for £80, and concessions or juniors (ages 8-16) pay £35. Non-shooters get in on the community for just £10. There are also session fees – £5 for seniors, £4 for concessions, and £3 for juniors.
Dave and the Buchan Archers crew wield everything from barebows to compounds, making it a diverse playground for all skill levels. New members can simply drop by, fill out a form, and jump right in. Kids over 8 are welcome too, just make sure they’ve got an adult sidekick.

We shoot outdoors at Longside airfield from May to September, and indoors at the Peterhead community centre from October through to April. In both cases the club meets on a Sunday from 11:00am to 2:00pm.
Yes, we offer drop-in sessions so you can come along and try the sport for free, up to three sessions. Beginners are especially welcome during the indoor season.
To join the club there is an annual membership fee, and there are target fees for each session you attend. Target fees are paid when you come along to shoot.
