Lisa Jackson here. Just wanted to share a bit about what’s going on at Buddies Fitness, based right in the heart of Brighouse at the Brighouse Arts Centre. She’s all about helping people of all fitness levels smash their goals, and having a good time while doing it.
Buddies Fitness, with Lisa leading the charge, offers loads of fun and effective classes as well as personal training. Whether you’re looking to shed a few pounds, gain some muscle, gear up for a competition, or just smash out a solid distance, Lisa and her team are right there with you.
So, a little bit about Lisa – she’s got over 20 years under her belt coaching all sorts of sports and fitness activities. She’s pretty much done it all, from losing more than 5 stone, completing 7 London marathons, to winning the Tae Kwon-do World Championship back in 2018. With all that experience, Lisa's got the knack to help you hit your fitness targets.
Buddies Fitness also has this nifty Tanita Body Composition Analysis scales they use for a free weekly body analysis. It’s available for all clients on monthly memberships, and it really helps you see how you’re progressing.
The mission at Buddies Fitness? Making exercise something you look forward to! They get that forming new fitness habits isn’t always a walk in the park, so their plan is to keep you motivated and make fitness fun.
And if you haven’t tried it yet, you’ve got to check out the Boogie Bounce workout. It’s a blast – a high-energy, low-impact sesh on mini-trampolines with a T-Bar Handle. You’ll get an awesome cardio workout followed by some toning that hits those bums, tums, and thighs. Even NASA reckons bouncing’s more efficient than jogging!
