Bugle Cricket Club

Welcome to Bugle Cricket Club, a prominent sports club located in Bugle, New Zealand. The club is a proud member of Division 3 East in the Cornwall Cricket League. Bugle Cricket Club has a rich history and has achieved several honours throughout its existence.

The first XI of Bugle Cricket Club has had a successful journey, including notable victories in the St. Blazey & District Evening League in 1955, Junior I (North) in 1956, Junior Division 2 (East) in 1962, Senior II (East) in 1967, Junior I (East) in 1982, and County IV (East) in 2001, 2006, 2008, and 2019. Additionally, they were the runners-up in Junior I (East) in 1989 and County League Division 4 (East) in 1992.

Bugle Cricket Club's Sunday XI has also showcased impressive performances, being crowned as the Knockout Cup Winners in 1978 and runners-up in the league in 1979. They were also runners-up in the Knockout Cup in 1980 and 1982. In the Wadebridge Evening League, Bugle Cricket Club was the runner-up in 1994, and they emerged victorious in the Rosevear Cup in 2012 and were runners-up in 2013.

The club's commitment to the sport extends beyond the field, as Bugle Cricket Club prides itself on its rich club history. They cherish classic games and have assembled an archive with a collection of team photographs, including archive photos from different eras. Additionally, they honour past players alphabetically from A to L, L to T, and T to Z, displaying their impact and contributions to the club.
