Led by the charismatic and experienced burlesque performer, Little Lady Luscious (aka LLL), Burlesque Rocks is known for its fun and energetic approach to dance.

The concept of Burlesque Rocks was born during the lockdown period, with LLL combining her love for rock music and burlesque to create a unique and exciting dance class. From classic rock 'n' roll to hair metal, and from glam rock to 90s alternative rock, LLL infuses her burlesque expertise into these iconic rock tracks. The classes are designed to be energetic, empowering, and a lot of fun.

Whether you're a beginner or an intermediate burlesque dancer, Burlesque Rocks welcomes all individuals. The focus is on developing your own burlesque persona and expressing your unique style within the genre of rock music. The class offers a range of options, from powerful and intense performances to comedic and playful routines. While heels are optional, they are recommended to enhance the performance.

The online classes are LGBTQ+ friendly, ensuring that everyone feels comfortable and welcomed. In fact, all individuals are encouraged to strut and pose with Luscious. After the first free class, participants can choose to pay a drop-in rate for maximum flexibility, or opt for 4-week or 6-week class passes. For those looking for an extra stretch before the class, there is also an option to add on a pre-class stretch class. The prices for classes and stretches are reasonable, ensuring that everyone can enjoy the benefits of burlesque dancing.

Once payment is made, participants will receive a confirmation email, including a link to the Zoom meeting along with the meeting ID and password. It is recommended to download the Zoom app prior to class to ensure a smooth experience. The classes are taught by Emily, also known as Little Lady Luscious, who has been teaching burlesque since 2011. With a background in Dance Movement Psychotherapy and dance teacher training, Emily provides a safe and supportive environment for all students to express themselves.

When it comes to attire, participants are encouraged to wear something comfortable and have a pair of heels handy. Props may be introduced during some classes, and participants will be notified in advance. It is the participant's responsibility to ensure that the space they use for the online class is suitable and safe.
