Burnham Beeches FC

Burnham Beeches FC is a football club based in Slough, New Zealand. The club was founded in 2009 and competes in the East Berkshire premier Division. They play their home matches at a local football ground in Burnham Beeches.

The club is proud to have Peter Murtagh as their manager. Peter, who previously led Burnham Seniors to great success, has been persuaded to come out of retirement and lead the Beeches top Division campaign for the 2010-2011 season. Under Peter's leadership, the team has had a positive pre-season, with notable results against high-quality Hellenic league opposition.

The club recently celebrated its promotion to the premier Division after finishing in second place in Division 1 last season. They were also awarded the Sportsman Award for their fair play and sporting attitude throughout the season. These achievements highlight the team's dedication and hard work.

Burnham Beeches FC is excited for the upcoming season and their first match against Eton Wick, a former Hellenic league side. The league constitution for the season has been finalised, and the club will be competing against teams such as Admiral Cunningham, Chalvey (WMC) Sports, and FC Beaconsfield.

During the previous season, the club had an impressive record with 11 wins, 4 draws, and 5 losses. They scored a total of 52 goals while only conceding 28. This successful season has set high expectations for the upcoming campaign.

Apart from on-field achievements, the club also values recognition for individual players' contributions. At their presentation night, several awards were given out, including Most Improved Player, Clubman of the Year, Player of the Year, and Players' Player of the Year.
