The Class of 23 umbrella bowlers recently enjoyed a fantastic pre-Christmas evening session of indoor bowls at Burnham-on-Sea Bowls Club. Players and spectators alike had donned their Christmas jumpers (or PJ's) for the occasion, resulting in lots of fun and laughter.

Details of the indoor competitions have been emailed to entrants by Paul Finch, the Indoor Secretary. These details will also be displayed on the noticeboard at the Club for members to view.

One of Burnham-on-Sea Bowling Club's members, Richard Thomas, is fundraising for Alzheimer's Research UK. Richard will be participating in the 2024 London Marathon and hopes to raise vital funds for this worthy cause. Additionally, competition entries for the indoor competitions will close at the end of November. Players interested in entering the triples or pairs competitions are invited to put their names on the lists displayed in the Clubhouse. Lastly, Burnham-on-Sea Bowling Club is hoping to establish a gardening group to take care of the flower and shrub borders surrounding the Green. This initiative aims to ensure that the beautiful green surroundings can be enjoyed by all who enter the club gates. The group will meet at 10:30 am on Tuesdays.
