Lisa Cormack here, just a quick note to share some exciting info about Burnley Pendle & Rossendale Sea Cadets with our amazing sports community.

Lisa leads Burnley Sea Cadets, a fantastic sailing school in Burnley, Lancashire. They offer young folks some thrilling adventures and plenty of opportunities to build confidence and resilience.

At Burnley Sea Cadets, it’s all about diving into adventure, making friends, and crafting memories to last a lifetime. Whether it’s sailing, navigation, teamwork, or leadership, there’s a whole list of activities to get stuck into. These experiences really leave a positive mark on everyone involved.

Thinking about volunteering? Why not give it a go? It’s a brilliant way to help young cadets grow and develop. Burnley Sea Cadets have made waves across the country, and it wouldn’t be possible without the support from people like you.

The cadets meet at Sea Cadets Burnley, 8 Stanley Street, Burnley, Lancashire, BB11 2HH. Meeting times are:

- Mondays from 6.30pm – 8.30pm
- Fridays from 7.15pm – 9.30pm
- Junior Cadets (10–12 years) on Mondays from 6.30pm – 7.30pm, and Fridays from 6.45pm
- Royal Marines Cadets (13–18 years) meet on Mondays at 6.30pm.
