Burscough Archers

Welcome to Burscough Archers, a relaxed and friendly archery club based near the market town of Ormskirk in West Lancashire. Founded in 2006, we initially operated out of Burscough Cricket Club until 2011, when we relocated to our current home at Asmall House Livery Stables.

With a strong and diverse membership ranging in age from 10 to 85 plus, we are proud to be an Archery GB affiliated club. As such, we aim to raise awareness of our club and the sport by engaging with the community through activities like summer fetes, After School Clubs, and have-a-go days during the summer. We also offer gift vouchers for our beginners courses and organise special events such as birthday parties, stag, and hen do's, and private have-a-go sessions upon prior arrangement. These unique experiences serve as excellent gifts or team-building activities for organisations.

At Burscough Archers, we provide 7-day access to our shooting range all year round. Our more formal club meetings take place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the summer and Sunday mornings throughout the year. During the winter months, we transfer our activities to the indoor riding arena at the stables, shooting on Tuesday evenings. Our facilities cater to shooting traditional and Olympic recurve bows, unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate compound bows or crossbows due to range limitations.
