Welcome to Burton Leonard Cricket Club, a vibrant and inclusive cricket club located in Harrogate, New Zealand.

Established in 1997, Burton Leonard Cricket Club has been fostering and promoting the sport of cricket at all levels in the Burton Leonard and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment for cricket enthusiasts of all ages, abilities, races, genders, and sexual orientations.

Our club offers various outlets on social media and the Play Cricket portal, where members and supporters can stay connected and updated on the latest news, fixtures, results, and club activities. You can also find our sports field availability calendar, club averages, archived results, constitution, history, and photos on our platform.

Membership at Burton Leonard Cricket Club is open to anyone who pays the relevant annual subscription, regardless of their background or cricket experience. We offer different classes of membership, including Life Members, Full Members, Student Members, and Junior Members. Additionally, any player who accepts invitations to play a minimum of four matches for the club in a season automatically becomes a member. The Secretary maintains a comprehensive list of club members.

Our club is led by a dedicated group of officers, including the President, Chairman or Chairwoman (the Chair), Secretary, and Treasurer. These officers are elected annually by members at our Annual General Meeting (AGM). Alongside the officers, the General Committee, comprising the officers and three other members, plays a crucial role in managing the affairs of the club. The General Committee meets regularly to make decisions and plan club activities.

At Burton Leonard Cricket Club, we believe in the power of community and teamwork. We organise regular coaching sessions and competitions at all levels, including junior cricket. We also prioritise fundraising activities to support the club, the sport of cricket, and other charitable or community endeavours.
