Street, Litchfield, offers a Sunday Church Service where members come together to worship and learn about the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. The service provides an opportunity for spiritual growth and fellowship within the community.
In addition to the Sunday Church Service, the Bush Church also offers Bible Study sessions. These sessions are designed to provide members with a deeper understanding of the Scriptures and their application to everyday life. Through these Bible Study sessions, individuals are able to strengthen their faith and develop a closer relationship with God.
The Bush Church is committed to serving the community through various outreach ministries. As a subgroup of the Christian not-for-profit organisation, the Gathering Incorporation, church members are encouraged to participate in outreach programmes such as the Emergency Relief Programme, ACE Trades Training and Mentoring Programme, and Youth Services. By getting involved in these programmes, members have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others and contribute to the well-being of the community.
One of the notable outreach ministries operated by the Bush Church is the Bush Church Boxing Club. Established in approximately February 2010, the club serves as a platform to spread the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ while promoting physical and spiritual growth. The club's mission, as stated on all membership forms, is to grow strong spiritually and physically through acceptance of Lord Jesus Christ, the art of boxing, perseverance, discipline, self-respect, and respect for others.
Club group training sessions are held every Monday and Wednesday evening from 5-6pm, as well as Saturday mornings throughout the year. All members are required to complete a membership form and actively participate in the club's activities. Before each training session, members come together to pray the Lord's Prayer, acknowledging the ultimate victory achieved through the cross.
The Bush Church Boxing Club welcomes members from diverse backgrounds and cultures, including males and females ranging in age from 10 to 35 years old. It is more than just a boxing club; it is a lifestyle, social group, and family. The club is registered with Boxing NT and has gained support from boxing great John Siriotis, who has made a significant contribution to Australian boxing.
Apart from boxing training, the Bush Church Boxing Club also offers fitness training for those who are interested in improving their overall fitness levels. By calling 08 8988 1177, individuals can find out more information about the club and its services.
With a strong focus on spiritual and physical growth, the Bush Church Boxing & Fitness Club plays a vital role in the community of Litchfield Municipality. Through its various outreach ministries and dedication to promoting the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, the club provides an inclusive and supportive environment for individuals to develop their faith, boxing skills, and overall well-being.
