About
Cabra Judo Club is a diverse and welcoming club located in Cabra, Dublin. With members from over 20 nationalities, we pride ourselves on creating a supportive and inclusive environment for all. Our club offers classes for children, both girls and boys, starting from 5 years old. We also cater to adult beginners who are interested in learning the art of Judo.
At Cabra Judo Club, we focus on teaching traditional Judo techniques such as breakfalls, solo Judo, Uchikomi, Tachiwaza, and Newaza. Our goal is to provide a safe and structured learning environment for our members to develop their skills and confidence in Judo.
We have a monthly subscription fee of 25 for children and 30 for adults, payable via Revolut. If you're interested in joining us or would like to try a free lesson, please contact David Moloney at 0861502011 or via WhatsApp. Our club is currently being hosted by DCU Alpha campus in Glasnevin, where we recently had our first outdoor class under the latest IJA back to the mat regulations.
Cabra Judo Club has a successful track record in competitions, with our players consistently bringing home medals from events such as the West of Ireland Open, Swords Open, National Judo Competitions, and more. We are proud to use the #Judomat from Durango Judo in the Basque Country as a teaching aid to enhance our training sessions.
For more information about our club, including compliance documents, club news, and upcoming events, please visit our website or contact us directly. We look forward to welcoming new members and helping them develop their skills in the art of Judo at Cabra Judo Club.
