The founder of Calm Confident Training Academy, Elaine, discovered the benefits of yoga, Pilates, and reflexology on her own journey to wellbeing after leaving her job as a senior radiographer due to ill health. As a mother with two active girls, she also found these practises to be extremely helpful for her family. This personal experience led her to create the training company, utilising her skills and knowledge to help others start their own health and fitness businesses. Elaine has furthered her expertise by obtaining a Master's degree in nutrition from Ulster University, becoming a registered nutritionist, and achieving a level 4 qualification as a sports and injury therapist.

Her passion lies in making small, sustainable changes that can significantly improve lives, empowering individuals to help themselves.

The academy offers a range of upcoming courses, including Pilates level 3 mat work instructor courses and Calm Confident kids and teens yoga classes. These courses are designed to provide high-quality training and are recognised by leading holistic and yoga professional bodies in the U. K. Many surestarts, playgroups, charities, and private instructors in the U.

K. and Ireland have already benefited from their training programmes. Additionally, the academy offers workshops in schools for both students and teachers, providing valuable resources and support.
